Many people are currently in the same boat that I was. You’ve been using the iPhone for years and feel like you’ve spent so much time with iTunes creating all your playlists that it would be a shame to not be able to use them again. So much so that it is causing you to rethink your plans to buy the super-cool Nokia N9 because it doesn’t play nice with iTunes.
Well do I have news for you! A few days ago, Nokia released new software (called “Nokia Link”) for both Windows and Mac OS X that let’s you sync with iTunes…even your playlists! This is fantastic news.
But if you choose to go the old-school method, you can also simply connect your Nokia N9 to a PC/Mac and have it be treated as a mass storage device. Then you can simply drag and drop photos, videos, MP3’s and anything else you want. I am currently using both methods as I think Nokia Link is great for synching my iTunes but I like the ability to drag and drop photo’s and videos…and speaking of photos, those of you that use iPhoto for the Mac will be happy to know that Nokia Link lets you sync all your iPhoto albums to the N9 as well.
If you want to try out Nokia Link for yourself, you can download it below:
